The Own It Method

You don't have a work-ethic problem.
You have a system problem.

The Own It Method is a 30-day onboarding for agents who already know the basics and are tired of running in place. Four modules. Daily roleplay. Weekly pipeline reviews. Scripts you memorize until they stop feeling like scripts. It is the playbook your team lead runs himself.

What we can honestly promise

Activity is what we teach.
Outcomes are what you earn.

We will not promise you a listing in your first 30 days, a specific income, or a guaranteed result. Anyone who does is selling you something. What the first month builds is prospect volume, appointments set, and scripts mastered. The inputs you control.

Most plateaus break the same way: by replacing motivation with a schedule, and guesswork with a script. You do not need someone to hype you up. You need a system that keeps working after the motivation runs out. That is the whole method.

Four modules, thirty days

A sequence, not a syllabus.

Each week builds on the last. You do not move on until the current module is a habit, because a method you half-learned is just a lecture you attended.

01Week One

Foundation & Prospecting

Before anything else, we rebuild the input. Most plateaus are not a talent problem, they are a contact problem. Week one installs a daily schedule built around conversations, not content, and the scripts that make those conversations go somewhere.

  • The core prospecting scripts, drilled until they are reflexes, not lines you read.
  • A time-blocked day built around prospecting hours, not one heroic sprint. 100 dials becomes a habit, not a stretch goal.
  • Database hygiene from day one, so every contact has a next action and nothing lives in your head.

What it builds  ·  A prospecting habit you can repeat on a bad day, and a full top of pipeline.

02Week Two

Listing Presentation Mastery

Activity gets you in the door. Structure is what closes it. Week two gives you a repeatable five-step listing appointment so you are never improvising in someone's living room.

  • The five-step appointment flow, from rapport through the ask.
  • Building and presenting a CMA that supports your price, not just your opinion.
  • Pricing scripts for the conversation every seller starts: why this number.

What it builds  ·  The confidence to walk into a listing appointment with a plan instead of a hope.

03Week Three

Objection Handling

Most agents lose the appointment at the first push back. Week three teaches the Acknowledge, Isolate, Respond framework and applies it to the objections that stall the most listing appointments, so you stay in the conversation when others fold.

  • The Acknowledge, Isolate, Respond framework, learned as a pattern you can run live.
  • The recurring objections: commission, let me think about it, a friend already in the business, price, and timing.
  • Roleplay twice a week, because you do not rise to the occasion, you fall to your practice.

What it builds  ·  The ability to hear no as a question, not a door closing.

04Week Four

Pipeline Management

The work of weeks one through three creates volume. Week four makes sure none of it slips. You learn to run a pipeline like an operator, not a hopeful.

  • Bucketing every contact by temperature: hot, warm, follow-up, dead.
  • Follow-up cadences so warm leads do not go cold from neglect.
  • A weekly pipeline review with your team lead. Nothing slips, because nothing is un-scheduled.

What it builds  ·  A pipeline that moves, and a forecast you can actually trust.

The rhythm

What a week actually looks like.

The method is not a binder you read once. It is a cadence you keep. Here is the rhythm you step into, and keep long after onboarding ends.

Daily

  • A protected prospecting block, every morning.
  • 100 dials across the day as a baseline, not a stunt.
  • Script drills before you pick up the phone.

Weekly

  • Roleplay twice a week with the team.
  • A 30 minute 1:1 and pipeline review with Alex.
  • One new module until the four are yours.

Ongoing

  • Coaching that continues past day 30.
  • Accountability to the activity, not the outcome.
  • The same playbook your team lead runs himself.

What the method is, and isn't

The Own It Method is a training curriculum and a coaching cadence. It teaches skills and installs habits. It does not, and cannot, guarantee a listing, a sale, or an income. Your results depend on your effort, your market, and factors outside anyone's control.

All agent relationships are independent-contractor arrangements governed by the eXp Realty Independent Contractor Agreement and The Own It Group External Team Agreement. Nothing on this page is an offer of employment or a promise of production.

If the method fits, so might the team

The method is the reason to join.
The rest is why it's worth staying.

Confidential means confidential. Your broker will never know we talked.
