Lending disclosure
In-house lending, fully disclosed.
Alex Khalil is a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS #2263609) with Edge Home Finance, LLC (NMLS #891464), a mortgage lender independent of eXp Realty. Real estate brokerage services and mortgage origination services are separate.
No portion of commissions, fees, bonuses, or compensation paid under any Team Agreement is paid in exchange for the referral of mortgage, title, escrow, or other settlement-service business. Any lending referral is entirely voluntary.
Clients are free to choose any lender or settlement-service provider. Using Alex or Edge Home Finance for financing is never a condition of any real estate service or team membership. Compliance with RESPA (12 U.S.C. § 2607) and Regulation X is maintained at all times.
Dual capacity, in plain view: on conventional and FHA transactions, Alex may act as both real estate agent and mortgage loan originator on the same transaction, consistent with HUD Mortgagee Letter 2022-22, and may earn a real estate commission and loan origination compensation on that transaction, disclosed to you in writing. On VA and USDA transactions, a partner originator handles the loan. A pre-approval is not a commitment to lend and is subject to full underwriting review.
Verify any mortgage license at NMLS Consumer Access, and any Florida real estate license at the Florida DBPR.
